I am 63 years old, and fall is the season my closet has never had an answer for. The mornings are cool, the afternoons are warm, and I spend the whole day either shivering in a tee or carrying a coat I do not need. Nothing in the middle ever seemed to exist.

So I would layer a heavy cardigan and peel it off by noon, and feel frumpy doing it. I had started to feel a little invisible in my own clothes.
